Un Soir de Printemps
• Project done over the course of my game developer training (Interface 3)
• All assets done on Krita. I used google images that I redrew + edited.
This is my 2nd game in JavaScript, again using the Phaser 3 framework.
The game plays as a simple plaformer, where the aim was for my girlfriend to collect the objects (related to her) across the map (representing our opposite timezones) and unlock a "?" at the very end of the map. By walking over it, she then has the possibility to encode a password using the first letter of each object found, and unlock the secret message.
Cringy, I know, the things we do out of love...
Bugs:
- No walls exist in this game. Which means if you walk outside the bounds of the map...... You better come back. There's really nothing else there, I promise.
- Clicking on the letters for the password can be laggy, so make sure you click thoroughly on each of the keys. Try again until something changes.
- The music sometimes takes a while to start. But it will eventually start (source: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RZEPeyR4Z3g).
- Sometimes the last page won't appear after encoding the password. You just gotta refresh and try again....!
